Rio: A whistleblower has revealed this morning, that the Queen is actually on a shopping trip in Ireland. Documents in the hands of the source show that the Queen drew up a list of Items of Desire, to add to her portfolio.
Yesterday she bought the GPO. Today, she is viewing the National Stud with a view to purchasing it as part of a package which will include the Rock of Cashel and Newgrange. She has been asked to leave something for President Obama next week. It is unknown whether she will comply with this request.
She was heard to whisper in Dublin Castle, (another potential purchase), "One shouldn't be in competition with some New Worlder. Doesn't one own him anyway?"
A spokesman for the Taoiseach said today, "Everything's on the table. She's only renting Eamon Gilmore for the 4 days but we're hoping she'll enjoy him so much, she'll take him off our hands"
